Tour Rules & Regulations

  • All tournaments will be decided over 18/36 holes of stroke play.
  • In the event of a tie after 36 holes then the winner will be decided by a play-off.
  • In 18 hole events the money will be shared between the winners.
  • Practice rounds

    • Practice rounds must be arranged through the secretary or professional shop.
    • All players must conduct themselves in a professional manner and respect the etiquette and dress code of the club.
  • Card payments

    • Credit cards will have a 3% surcharge.
    • Debit cards will have a £1 surcharge.
  • The following points will be allocated towards the Senior and Amateur Order of Merits: 1st. 60, 2nd. 40, 3rd. 30, 4th. 25, 5th. 20, 6th. 15, 7th. 10, 8th. 8, 9th. 6, 10th. 4
  • Points will be rounded up in the event of ties.
  • One ball rule applies for professionals and amateurs.
  • Driving clubs

    • Driving clubs conformity as the R & A of St. Andrews List.
  • Grooves on iron clubs

    • The tour will not be adopting the new condition of competition rule relating to grooves on iron clubs.
  • Measuring devices

    • Devices without slope will be allowed.
  • Suspension of play

    • When play is suspended, the player must mark their ball and seek shelter. Play will not be resumed until an official has deemed it safe, practice is not allowed during the suspension.
    • Suspension One prolonged klaxon horn.

    • Resumption Two short notes of klaxon horn.

  • Players attire

    • Player No denim, shorts, sandals, trainers, non-collared shirts.
    • Caddies Non spiked shoes and tailored shorts to be acceptable.
    • In the clubhouse hats, waterproofs or golf shoes must not be worn!
  • Officials present

    • Tour director, tour administrator, and starter.
  • Slow play will not be tolerated

  • Code of conduct

    • Any player or caddie displaying inappropriate behaviour, causing damage to the course or tee markers will be subject to a suspension from the tour if in the opinion of the tour director the reputation of the tour will be damaged.
    • Any concerns or comments should be directed towards the tour director.
  • Late entries

    • Entries after the closing date will be subject to a £15 administration fee.
  • Withdrawals

    • No refunds will be given after the draw is posted unless a valid medical note is produced.
  • The tour director will have the final say in whether a refund is justified.
